It’s that time of year again! I am proud to announce that this year’s Rising Star Scholarship applications are out.  Each year, students taking a course in an event management program using Certain’s software are eligible to win one of our $1500 scholarships. Applications are due back by May 28th.

Students are evaluated based on class performance, teacher evaluations, and an essay that they submit along with the application. “This is a great opportunity for aspiring meeting and event planners to gain credibility as they emerge in a competitive industry,” says Certain CMO Olivier Delerm. “This is the fourth year for Rising Star, and it has been accessed by almost 50 educational institutions around the world. Beyond the monetary benefit of the scholarship, our media partnership with Mice.net brings a lot of exposure to the winning students.”
