We had a great first day of the NBTA Convention 2009 on the Expo floor. Rick, Justyna and I talked to meeting and travel plannners about how Certain's solutions can help them get started with strategic meetings management, from automating event approval processes to introducing a site selection and RFP management application, to tracking event budgets better and attendee data more closely.

Today, I'll spend time in the booth of our travel integration partner TRX from 3 to 4 p.m., talking about how meeting planners can benefit from integrating travel reservation data with attendee data to manage events more effectively. 

In addition, stop by our booth 504 on the floor today to meet an exciting new addition to the Certain Software team. We'll release more news about this later today.

Dara Torres was an inspiring speaker yesterday as well; we look forward to two more greats: Jay Leno today and former President Bill Clinton tomorrow.
